Principal's Message

McAdoo

Panther Nation,

As we enter the 2017-2018 school year, I once again have the honor of being the Principal at a school that I love and attended as a student years ago.  Over the past three years, we have built a culture of pride at Carver.  I take great joy in being a school where everyone in the Panther family strives to find the best in themselves and others.  We have much to be proud of at Carver and I look forward to another year of serving the Carver Middle School community.

We are proud of all the academic opportunities we offer our students, with strong core academic programs as well as outstanding elective classes.  We have a Pre-Advanced Placement program as well as academic interventions to help ensure all students can reach their goals at Carver.  We offer a highly certified AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) program and numerous academic opportunities for students to pursue their goals.  In addition to our strong academic curriculum, we have athletic programs with a tradition of success and a fine and performing arts program that is second to none. We have a staff who truly believes that every one of our students can and will succeed.

I am proud to be a part of a culture of excellence that has been built over many years at Carver and I am proud to be your Principal.  Lets have a great year and remember to be a great panther, and do things the Panther Way because at Carver we are all in, no excuses! Paws Up.

Thank you,

Alonzo McAdoo, Principal
G.W. Carver Middle School
